The Folly

Medusa has been appointed as the main contractor responsible for this exciting and individual project for the owner of the Rushmore Estate in Tollard Royal in Wiltshire. The project comprises a new 18 metre high folly in the Indian Mogul style including detailed stone work and copper domes.

We believe this is the only folly built on this scale in recent times and will stand in an elevated position to the end of the one mile avenue towards the main house.

This project is due for completion spring/summer 2009.

Gainsborough House - Bath Spa Hotel

Medusa was appointed in May 2007 by Bath Spa Hotels Ltd following previous association with the Trevor Osborne Group at Oxford Castle to carry out the Design and Consultancy for this new and exciting 5 star Hotel and Spa in the centre of the beautiful historic city of Bath.

Medusa has undertaken removal of an existing building to the site for later reinstatement in an alternative position, utilising the original bath stone materials. The company have been tasked to design from the Architects concept, the new Lower Borough Walls and Albert Wing extensions in traditional Georgian style. This design will feature details by the Architect Pinch the Younger who designed the original Mineral Hospital Building which forms part of the development.

Medusa has now been further appointed to provide details for the cost plans to the Client and will be supplying a tender return to the main contractor to supply and fix for the masonry contract.
