Hardman Square Water Features

This challenging set of water features were commissioned by Allied London Properties as a centrepiece for their Spinning Fields development in Manchester.

The features are located in the main Hardman Square, designed by Fosters and Partners and Hyland Edgar Driver.

The 140 tons of Chinese Granite used in the installation of these water features were imported and manufactured by Medusa.

The tolerances involved to make the features work meant only 1mm over 27 metres could be allowed in the levels to achieve the architects overall water effect.
